Domain Day borders Eden Valley on two sides of its vineyard and Robin Day has worked with Eden Valley Riesling since 1976, thus Riesling has a natural place at Domain Day.

It is also no surprise to learn that Robin Day has chosen planting material from the vineyard he is so familiar with -- Orlando's Eden Valley vineyard. To this he has added one of the best German clones, Giesenheim 148.

The cool Mt Crawford climate with its low temperatures gives ideal conditions for gently ripening Riesling.
